Comet 3I/ATLAS recently emerged from behind the glare of the sun to become visible to ground-based telescopes.

Australia's internet watchdog is investigating five major social media platforms for allegedly not complying with a world-first social media ban for under 16s, the government in Canberra said on Tuesday. Under the new law, which took effect in December, under 16s are no longer allowed to have their own accounts on 10 major social media platforms.

The post came after earlier warnings from the UAE Ministry of Defense that the emirate's air defenses were actively engaged in interception activities. Authorities in the UAE's Sharjah region said on Monday that an administrative building belonging to Thuraya Telecommunications was targeted by a drone from Iran, the emirate's media office shared in a post on X/Twitter.
